Debian Review

Well Debian, is one of my favorite Linux distributions, it is really stable, has almost any application you might think of, and a great community, a great package manager (apt).

Difficult for me to find something bad at it.

The Debian Project is governed by the Debian Constitution and the Social Contract which set out the governance structure of the project as well as explicitly stating that the goal of the project is the development of a free operating system.[8][9] Debian is developed by over one thousand volunteers from around the world and supported by donations through several non-profit organizations around the world. Most important of these is Software in the Public Interest,[10] the owner of the Debian trademark and umbrella organization for various other community free software projects.[11]

Thus, the Debian Project is an independent decentralized organization; it is not backed by a company like some other GNU/Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, openSUSE, Fedora, and Mandriva. The cost of developing all the packages included in Debian 4.0 etch (283 million lines of code), using the COCOMO model, has been estimated to be close to US$13 billion.[12] As of April 2, 2009, Ohloh estimates that the codebase of the Debian GNU/Linux project (45 million lines of code), using the COCOMO model, would cost about US$819 million to develop.

Slashdot | Arch Linux reviews

From Slashdot: "Arch Linux current version is 2010.05, but Arch Linux is a rolling release distribution, so this version is only the snapshot of the Installation image, Arch Linux is suited for the experienced Linux user, but the mid-experienced user may also try it.
There are a lot of good reviews of it, I have found these two really interesting ones."

Gwibber and Hotot review

Two good Twitter apps for Linux, Gwibber comes from Lauchpad, it has support to identi.ca, facebook, Digg and others.
Hotot, is still in Alpha and with some working issues yet, but As impresive as it is, I am sure it will be one of the best Twitter and Identi.ca application for Linux with the most users.

Check them out.

Arch Linux 2010.05 [Review]

Good review of Arch Linux which is my favorite distribution.
I really like the simplicity of it, and talking about being unstable, it really is not.
I have been using it daily for more than a year now, and have o only faced small issues that were solved fast (minutes of googling)
I have some tutorials about arch in my blog, http://www.go2linux.org
