Import from rss

I really like my posterous, I was thinking about switching to Amplify, but I will better stay at posterous, I like the ability to have my own domain.

I thing I really miss about is, that it does not have the feature to import from a rss feed, just like Tumblr can do.

I actually have both of them and you may be reading this either on posterous or tumblr, as I usually update one from the other.

But on my Tumblr I also import links from my Linux blog, and I would like to have that feature in my posterous too.

Below my posterous and tumblr blogs:

New themes (templates) for posterous

Today I got an email from Posterous.

What I really liked, is the presentation of the new themes, or templates.

With over 20 new themes, you can now have a custom look no matter what type of site you are creating. These new themes range from the über-minimal Journal, the clean and crisp Proper to the colorfully stylish Purple. Looking to create a photo blog? Try out Mag or Showcase. Students and teachers wanting to create a scholarly look can choose Back To School, while those traveling abroad can try out the elegant Togo.

If you are a posterous user, check this themes out.

Posting inline pictures to Posterous

Posterous aprouch to blogging is great!, yes if you post from your email, you may be able to post from any place, any time.

But when you post pictures, with text, you do not always want to have the picture on the top, and text in the button.

If you use gmail, you can now insert images in the middle of the text.

First go to settings in you account then go to labs and from the list enable "Inserting images" app, after that you will have this when writting you email.

Now all you need is to click on image icon, choose from an image on your disk, or from an Internet url, and you are done.
